The Carlyle Teague Educational Fund was established in 2019. Named for the NCSFA long serving Executive Secretary, the fund was put into the budget by the Board of Directors to be used for members who require assistance with educational expenses.
Examples of qualifying expenses include:
- Seminars
- Trade shows as an attendee
- Classes for food or business education
Guidelines
- Open to NCSFA members who have been a paying member for more than one year (i.e. you must have paid your dues twice).
- Members must submit a request form stating the educational purpose
- Members may request reimbursement for 50% of the cost of the educational event, up to a maximum of $200 per member company per calendar year.
- Members must submit a receipt showing payment to qualify for reimbursement
- Members may request reimbursements only once every other year.
